Some backgrounds to this Music Video... hee :) These 'maids' apparently found some old cassette tapes to be throw away while cleaning EL. So to fulfil their 'spiderman dreams', they started 'spinning' cassette tapes web around EL. Then they found a old CD that plays the 'mission impossible' song (btw, the song was REALLY playing when they were doing the MV!)... That's how the 'Maids' Impossible music video came about! :) Hire them to clean your place! It's free and they can do a 'Maids' Impossible 'live' MV right at your home!
Just in case you think that's all to Maid to order, you're wrong...
Let's hear a more reflective maid:
I thank God for the trip to Jiayen's place. My heart went out to eight-year old Jullion who had to learn to be independent at such a tender age. I was very surprised to discover that he had to fetch his younger sister, Joseanna back from the student care centre during the weekdays. Despite his active and sometimes restless disposition, he proved to be streetwise and unafraid to explore new things. A statement Jullion made struck a chord in my heart while on our way to fetch his sister. He told Junyi, a nine-year old friend who'd joined us to visit this, " At least we did something useful like cleaning the windows...it's fun." My impression of mischievous Jullion has changed completely as a result. He is after all, like any eight-year-old boy, who loves to play and have fun. Circumstances at home may have compelled him to grow up, yet he has an undaunting spirit towards difficulties in life. He does not complain or compare with others. What a beautiful child!
Personally, God also spoke to me about having a bigger heart towards His body's matters. Having served in the youth ministry for quite some time, i realized I was too absorbed and caught up in the many things to do in the youth ministry. Maid to Order opened my eyes to realize there are so many other needs in the church. I gotta look beyond the nutshell and look outwards. The problems and struggles i faced in life paled in comparison to what some of my siblings are going through. The trip to mummy Jiayen's home taught me precious lessons that I would never forget..one of which is to be thankful at all times. Being grateful for every little thing helps me to be appreciative of the things God has blessed me with... a complete family (although there are sometimes squabbles), the opportunity to further study, relationships with friends, good health etc. Most importantly it taught me to be grateful to the Giver of all things. Praise the Lord!
